1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and enquiries, orders and transactions with Majid International General Trader FZ-LLC (“Majid Traders”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using our website, you agree to these Terms. Product purchases and services are also subject to the quotation, order confirmation or contract agreed for the relevant transaction.
2. Our Products and Services
We supply products for construction, industrial, commercial and other project requirements. Our range includes building materials, HVAC and cooling equipment, cold storage supplies, sanitary products, electronics, furniture, uniforms, containers, fencing, MDF, gypsum, reinforcement, sand, road base and gravel.
We also offer transport supply, machinery supply and scrap purchasing, subject to availability and the scope agreed in writing.
A product or service appearing on this website does not guarantee its availability. Installation, commissioning, maintenance, equipment operation and other additional services are included only where expressly stated in the accepted quotation or contract.
3. Website Information and Product Specifications
We aim to keep website information accurate and current. However, descriptions, images and availability may change. Images are illustrative unless expressly identified as showing the exact item offered.
Before ordering, customers should confirm the required specifications, dimensions, quantities, grades, finishes, compatibility and intended application. We remain responsible for supplying goods that conform to the agreed description and applicable legal requirements.
Any substitution or material specification change requires the customer’s agreement before supply.
4. Enquiries, Quotations and Order Acceptance
Submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation or sending a purchase order does not by itself confirm that we have accepted an order.
An order becomes binding when both parties accept its scope and commercial terms in writing, including through an authorised email or other agreed written communication.
Quotations are valid for the period stated in them. If no validity period is specified, please reconfirm pricing and availability before placing an order.
If we identify an error before accepting your order, we will provide the corrected information for your approval.
5. Prices, Taxes and Payment
The applicable currency, prices, VAT treatment, delivery charges and any additional costs will be stated in the quotation or order confirmation.
Payment methods, deposits, instalments and due dates must be agreed before order fulfilment. No credit facility applies unless expressly approved in writing.
If an agreed payment becomes overdue, we may suspend the affected order after notifying the customer, subject to the contract and applicable law.
Changes to an accepted order, including additional quantities or services, require agreement on any resulting price or delivery adjustment.
6. Delivery, Collection and Site Access
Delivery or collection arrangements will be specified in the relevant order. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding.
Customers must provide accurate delivery details, a suitable contact person and safe, lawful access to the delivery location. Unloading, lifting equipment, storage, permits and site preparation are included only where agreed.
Any additional charges resulting from customer-requested changes or unsuccessful delivery must be reasonable and communicated before being incurred, wherever practicable.
The point at which ownership and risk transfer will be stated in the relevant contract, subject to applicable law. Delivery acknowledgement does not waive rights relating to hidden defects or other mandatory legal protections.
7. Inspection, Defects and Incorrect Supply
Please inspect goods on receipt where reasonably possible and report visible damage, shortages or incorrect items promptly. Supporting photographs, delivery records and order details will help us investigate.
Hidden defects should be reported when discovered. A failure to identify a defect at delivery does not remove any rights available under applicable law.
Where goods are defective, damaged before risk transfers, or do not match the agreed order, we will arrange the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the relevant contract. This may include repair, replacement, return or refund.
8. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel or change an order.
For non-defective goods, cancellation and return eligibility depend on the agreed order terms, fulfilment stage and nature of the goods. Customised uniforms, cut-to-size materials, fabricated items and specially sourced products may have restrictions that must be disclosed before order acceptance.
Any agreed cancellation charge must reflect reasonable, documented costs already incurred and comply with applicable law.
Restrictions on discretionary returns do not limit remedies for defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-conforming goods. Where a refund is due, we will confirm its method and processing timeframe in accordance with applicable requirements.
9. Warranties and Product Use
Warranty coverage and any manufacturer warranty terms will be provided where applicable. Manufacturer terms do not replace obligations that apply to us under UAE law.
Products must be stored, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with applicable instructions and safety requirements. Damage caused by misuse, unsuitable storage, unauthorised modification or incorrect installation may be excluded from warranty coverage to the extent permitted by law.
Unless expressly included in our scope, customers are responsible for arranging qualified installation and any necessary technical approvals.
10. Transport and Machinery Supply
Transport and machinery orders must identify the agreed equipment or vehicle, supply period, location, operating requirements and any included personnel or services.
Fuel, operators, mobilisation, permits, insurance, maintenance and demobilisation are included only as specified in the quotation or contract.
Each party must fulfil the safety, licensing and site responsibilities allocated to it by the agreement and applicable law.
11. Scrap Purchasing
Scrap purchases are subject to inspection and agreement on material type, grade, condition, weight, price and collection arrangements.
The seller must own the materials or have lawful authority to sell them and must disclose known hazardous substances, contamination or other relevant risks.
We may decline materials where ownership, safety, legality or the agreed specifications cannot be established. Weighing arrangements, deductions, collection costs and payment terms must be agreed before the transaction proceeds.
12. Acceptable Website Use
You must not use this website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, submit knowingly false information, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with website operation.
You must have authority to submit enquiries or place orders on behalf of a business or other organisation.
13. Intellectual Property
Website content owned by or licensed to Majid Traders, including branding, text, graphics and images, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and use the website for legitimate personal or business enquiries. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial reuse requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
14. Third-Party Links and Personal Information
Our website may link to external websites or communication platforms. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Personal information submitted through enquiries or orders will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law. Please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
15. Liability
Each party is responsible for its obligations under the relevant agreement and applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of products, unauthorised alterations or failures outside our agreed scope. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, or removes mandatory consumer rights.
16. Events Beyond Reasonable Control
If an event beyond a party’s reasonable control prevents or delays performance, the affected party must notify the other party and take reasonable steps to reduce its impact.
The parties will discuss revised arrangements. Cancellation rights and treatment of payments for undelivered goods or unperformed services remain subject to the contract and applicable law.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve any concern. If a dispute remains unresolved, it may be referred to the competent UAE courts or relevant authority, subject to any valid dispute resolution agreement and mandatory jurisdiction rules.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from contacting a competent consumer protection authority.
18. Changes and Order of Precedence
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on this website. Changes apply prospectively and do not alter previously accepted orders without agreement.
For a particular transaction, expressly agreed contract terms take precedence over these general Terms where they conflict, subject to applicable law.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
